About the District
The Coosada 911 Communications District was established to ensure reliable, efficient emergency communication services for the residents and visitors of the Town of Coosada, Alabama. We dispatch for Coosada Police and Coosada Fire/Rescue, providing seamless coordination between emergency responders and the community.
Currently, 911 calls in Coosada are initially answered by Elmore County Emergency Communications and then transferred to our district for local handling. In the near future, the Coosada 911 Communications District will begin taking 911 calls directly using the advanced Carbyne Apex NG911 platform, making us the first communications district in Alabama to deploy this next-generation system.
